Homeostasis is most closely associated with
the Drive-reduction theory. The Drive-Reduction Theory is a theory of
motivation that is established by Clark L. Hull. It focuses on how the origin
of motivation from primary drives such as biological needs. Based on this
theory, the decrease of drives is the prime force for motivation.
