we know that

when we speak of right or left we refer to the x axis
x positive --------------> right
x negative--------------> left

when we speak of up or down we refer to the y axis
y positive --------------> up
y negative--------------> down

therefore

the rule is
(x,y)---------> (x+8, y+2)
