to solve 2h(h+7), you will first multiply each term in the parenthesis by 2 h
2h x h + 2h x 7
Now you will take "2h x h", and calculate the product. this will give you 2h to the 2nd power, or 2h^2
2h^2 + 2h x 7
now you will calculate the product of "2h x 7". this will give you 14h
this makes your answer:
2h^2 + 14h
