What impact did the marriage of Eleanor of Aquitaine to Henry II have on England?

Answer:

Eleanor is considered to be one of the most influential women of the Middle Ages. She at the age of 15 became Duchess of Aquitaine after her father died,  following as the queen of France and later queen of England.                                    

Eleanor was one of the famous queens in England known to plot against her husband with her two sons ( Richard and John) for the future inheritance of the empire. Henry's empire was crumbled in the coming years under the reign of his sons.
