4=[tex] \frac{t}{2.5} [/tex]
To solve multiply both sides by 2.5 ( to cancel out the fraction )
10=t
t=10

So you need to move the 2.5 from one side of the equation to the other so you multiply it across.
4 * 2.5 = t 
10 = t
