(3,5)....x1 = 3 and y1 = 5
(1,3)....x2 = 1 and y2 = 3

slope formula : (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
slope = (3 - 5) / (1 - 3) = -2/-2 = 1 <== slope is 1
