Can you rearrange the standard form of the equation below into y = mx + b by isolating y.
5x-2y=6

Answer:

y = mx+c

or

y = mx+c

you need y to have no coefficients and also you need y to be alone and a positive number

5x - 2y = 6

move 5x to the right

-2y = -5x + 6

divide both sides by -2

y = (5/2)x - 3
