Answer:

3/4 of a mol of Rust

Explanation:

The first thing you have to do is work from a balanced equation.

4Fe +  3O2 ====> 2Fe2O3

Left

4 Fe

6 Oxygens

Right

4Fe

2*3 = 6 Oxygens

So you have a balanced equation

4Fe +  3O2 ====> 2Fe2O3

 1.5                              x

The next (and last) thing to do is to set up a proportion

4/1.5 = 2/x                  Cross multiply

4x = 1.5*2                   Combine

4x = 3                         Divide by 4

4x/4 = 3/4

x = 3/4 mol
