Given :

Concentration of hydrogen ions, [tex]H^+ = 10^{-3} \ ions[/tex].

To Find :

The pH of a solution.

Solution :

We know, pH of a solution is given by :

[tex]pH = - log [ H^+]\\\\pH = -log ( 10^{-3})\\\\pH = 3[/tex]

Therefore, the pH of the solution is 3 .
