simplify the following expressions
a) 7x + 2y + x + 3y
b) x + 7y + 10x - 15y

a) 8x + 5y

b) 11x - 8y

Combine like terms in each expression and you'll get the answer! You can't simplify any further from here, so there's your answer.

A) 7x = 3y+2y. So 7x=5y.
