Find the equation equivalent to 2x=4 which is a multiple of 3

we have to find equation similar to

[tex] 2x=4 [/tex]

Firstly , we can divide both sides by 2

[tex] \frac{2x}{2} =\frac{4}{2} [/tex]

[tex] x=2 [/tex]

now, we can multiply both sides by 3

[tex] 3*x=3*2 [/tex]

we get

[tex] 3x=6 [/tex]............Answer
